LEK DENT LODZ 1995
GDC No. 100593
Teresa Pernak graduated from the Medical University in Lodz, Poland, in 1995. After completing her foundation training, she worked for 5 years in a paediatric dental clinic for children under the age of 7. Working with children was a truly rewarding experience for Teresa and since then children’s dental wellbeing has always been in her focus.
Over the years Teresa has developed a strong dentist-patient relationship with her young patients and their parents and very quickly earned the title of a ‘family dentist’ in the area where she lived and worked. This has encouraged Teresa to further her development which resulted in obtaining a 1st class degree in General Dentistry in 2000.
Shortly after she established her own dental practice, where she worked with a small team until 2005. A new opportunity then arrived and Teresa moved to the UK. She started working at the newly opened practice in Hitchin. For 11 years, she has been providing NHS and private dental care at Hitchin Dental. Alongside her regular duties she has also been involved in dental nurse training which she has always found very rewarding.
Over the years Teresa has completed several courses in paediatric dentistry, endodontics, aesthetic and restorative dentistry. Her work philosophy is to provide preventive dental care as early as possible, working together with patients and their families to maintain dental wellbeing; to offer minimally invasive treatments delivering pain-free and satisfying dentistry.
In her free time Teresa is involved in supporting local youth groups, enjoys countryside long-distance walks, mountain hiking, and listening to jazz music.
