OUR MESSAGE TO YOU
“During these days of great uncertainty and physical isolation, there is no-one left unaffected by the current health pandemic, but for the families who have lost loved ones, dealing with their grief must be harder than ever because of the need for social distancing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people who are suffering at this time and here at Obex we are all doing our best to reach out and support our communities where the help is most needed.
Regarding the dental services we are able to provide during these days of continued lockdown, we are pleased to be able to offer a Telephone Assessment and Advisory Service which patients at all Obex dental practices can access during the usual opening times. Please check the website of your local practice for more information.
All the staff at all our practices send their very best wishes to you and your families during these challenging times and we look forward to supporting you in whatever way we can with issues relating to your dental health and hygiene.”

CARING FOR THE COMMUNITY
In recent weeks staff at all our practices have been doing extraordinary things to give back to their local communities. Some staff have been busy organising food collection and delivery to nearby food banks and charities, some staff have been busy home-cooking and baking for residents of local care homes and some staff have been creating beautiful gifts to brighten up the lives of those most in need.
Theo, the young son of one of our nurses Rebecca, put together lots of lovely care packages which were donated to residents at a local care home and he’s made the following short video to help tell his story.
IN THE SPOTLIGHT
On the 23rd April Debbie McEvoy reached an incredible milestone as this date signified 20 years continuous service for Obex Dental. Debbie began her career as a dental nurse but decided on a change of direction to join the reception team and this is where she has continued to develop her her career. She has worked at Darrell House Dental for over 17 years, becoming an invaluable member of our staff team and she now holds the position of Head Receptionist. Always keen to go the extra mile, we can see Debbie ready to head out to deliver a staff food donation to a local charity.
